The Dallas Materials & Process Team centers on development of assembly methods, materials, and processes for current and next generation microwave and mmwave products, with a very heavy emphasis on cutting-edge automation and materials. You will work hand-in-hand with product engineers, quality engineers, reliability engineers, and manufacturing engineers on product manufacturing. Responsibilities include developing and implementing materials and processes, process improvements, and production support using established statistical process control techniques, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis. Evaluation of materials, equipment, and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) will be required including interfacing with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues. The opening would support the Microwave Automated Factory (an ISO Class 8 clean room environment). The opening would support the Microwave Automated Factory (an ISO Class 8 clean room environment). Assembly processes supported involve automated epoxy component attach, SMT Solder, and RF Assembly.

Security Clearance Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance within 1 year of start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Requirements:
• Experience with manufacturing environment and automated assembly equipment
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team and be a strong individual contributor
• Demonstrated problem solving abilities
• Self-motivated, proactive, able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated organization skills
• Must be computer literate – proficient with Microsoft Operating Systems (XP, Windows 7, Windows 10) – proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Familiar with clean room procedures, including ESD. Must be able to spend 10+ hours per day in the clean room environment with a cleanroom smock, head covers, safety glasses, and face mask.

This role is for 2nd (2pm-10:30pm) shift with potential for a compressed schedule 3-4 days/week

Required Education:
• Typically requires 10 years related experience and High School Diploma
• AS/AA Degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years related experience
